YELOW-NECKED MOUSE

The yellow necked mouse is very similar to the wood mouse, both species being extremely agile rodents, moving along in a series of zig-zag leaps and bounds. Capturing such activities on film is quite a challenge, but the animal here, having woken up from its daytime sleep, is seen peering out of its refuge in a rotten stump.
