ARCHER FISH
This extraordinary fish inhabits the brackish waters of Indonesia. When it spots an insect in the air above, the fish swims cautiously upward, sticks its snout just above the surface and squirts a fine jet of water which knocks the victim into the water, where it is promptly seized.
Due to one snag after another it took several weeks to obtain the picture.
